Garner Enterprises is a third-party family owned freight forwarding and transportation logistics business based in Toronto, Ontario.  As a transportation solutions provider the company tailors multi-modal, rail-road-water solutions.  The company’s platform enables collaboration of multiple vendors for the benefit of their clients, automating a process in the background for seamless moves that produce tangible savings. 

Inspiration to build a responsible transportation company came after a combined 60 years of experience in food manufacturing, product development and warehouse shipping. A passion of both Malcolm and Lynda’s was always to curate great food experiences.  They did this in product development and the sourcing of ingredients.  Over time they became experts in shipping temperature controlled goods.  

In early 2000, the Garner’s decided it was time to capitalize on the benefits of shipping food using the best possible multi-modal solutions for keeping our planet healthy.  Rail was central to their founding platform. They knew that creativity in combining logistics solutions could achieve significant reductions in C02 on each and every load shipped and reduce costs.  

Over the next two decades the company would gain momentum moving beyond the rail and road dynamic of North America and incorporate international lanes to the scope of logistics services the company would offer.
